This site has many different attractions. The main hall was severely damaged in a fire. This allows the visitor to see "under the skin". Some off the rooms in the wings have been furnished to show how the place would have looked. The hall is...More

The hall is nice and the grounds worth a look around but it's quite a small estate. Worth a visit if you a national trust member but it is really out competed by near by Wallington Hall and Cragside which both have much more to...More

Seaton Delaval Hall is a very interesting place to visit, although the main Hall is unfurnished due to a fire I found the space extremely interesting helped by the volunteers based around the estate.

Brilliant day out for all of the family, with lots of history and things to do. The guides in the hall were excellent.

Spent a great visit here seeing the work in progress in restoring the Hall after the disastrous fire nearly two hundred years ago. The extent of the restoration shows where your NT subscription is being spent. But you’d better have a torch with you if...More

A good place to visit if you like old houses that have a lot of history behind them. All the volunteer staff were knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the history and the restoration plans. Worth a visit especially if you are an NT Member!

Beautiful grounds, interesting property and great knowledgeable staff who were really helpful and willing to help. Only disappointment was the café only had cardboard cups!! (Good cake though).

So much to see and do. Well worth a visit. The grounds are so nice. Been a few times and it's always well kept. The volunteers are so willing to tell you all about what's been going on and the history of the place.

Very beautiful building with great cellars and amazing gardens that on a sunny day will accommodate a family's picnic. It is a national trust building so you need to pay unless a member. There is parking and a cafe as well as a small shop...More

I would say the same. Alternatively there maybe a number you can ring if you go onto their eb page. I've recently watched The Landmark trust programme and think it should be restored.
