We visited during the Easter holidays with our 5 & 8 yr olds whilst holidaying in North Devon. The park had a glossy leaflet and a website advertising bouncy castles, outdoor games, crazy golf, water zorbing etc. When we got there the two bouncy castles were deflated and were awaiting repair, there was no sign of any crazy golf, we... Went for a walk around the harbour area and came across the cafe. A little out of the way to find but well worth the visit. Nice outside seating area over looking the sea and new area inside to sit should the weather be wet. Developing the area for families for young children which should keep them amused with the... I had high hopes that this place had been revamped as the previous owners had let the place get really tatty. Whilst the seating area has been extended and much improved, much of the grounds looked the same, some things looked worse. Why there are now emus here is a mystery...not exactly rather most child friendly of creatures to choose!... More

As locals we'd seen this place from the path on the way to the Harbour a few times and we're looking forward to going. We went in August and so it was busy, there was one person taking orders from the till, she was pleasant enough but was typing prices in slowly and had to keep checking the menu for... More

A compilation of local work by local artists at reasonable prices. Lots of variety, free entry and even if you don't buy anything you can enter a raffle for a £1 to win your choice of an original piece of art.

We found this wonderful little gem by chance as we took my boy Ben swimming at the leisure centre. Firstly it was 6.10pm and they stopped serving food at 6pm? But not a problem a wonderful friendly lady made the effort to stay open and cook for us? Glad they did I had a deliciously cooked steak with lovely light... More

This was quite frankly the worst lunch experience myself and 3 friends have ever had! We arrived on a slightly cool day with 4 toddlers in prams and obviously wanted to sit inside, the first comment said to us was that we couldn't have our prams inside so we all moved our prams to areas not in anyone's way, Only...
