Disappointed to find the gates locked for our annual family and friends outing in Ilfracombe. We were a party of around 30 children and adults, and we're not the only disappointed souls at the gate, surprised to find them locked. We went down the harbour instead. Shame.

My husband and I love the tunnels. So unusual and takes you back to the Victorian era where the UKs beaches and resorts were so popular. We wish this popularity would return as treasures such as these tunnels are rare today.

Such a shame as I have always wanted bro visit the tunnels beach but should have read the reviews first. Tunnel Beaches is a little piece of tropical paradise in the South West. I had always dreamt of getting married by the sea and I was lucky to find this venue. We were very lucky with the weather and managed to have the ceremony and dinner outside (they do have a plan b in case it rains). All our guests... More

A waist of money just the sea and rocks don't understand why you should have to pay to go in the sea and sit on the rocks

We weren't sure what we were going to see, the tunnel is interesting as it's been hand carved but to be honest we were there a couple of minutes and paid for the privilege, I don't usually expect to pay to visit a beach and that's basically what we did, I suppose warmer weather would make your stay longer but...
