Spent a rainy afternoon here. Loved the old fashioned cinema, took me back to my youth. No air con but who cares? It had old red velour seats and an usher helping you to your seat. Great place to while away a few hours.

We went to the cinema and were greeted by friendly staff. The fella who took us to our seats was accommodating and even asked how the film was after. The cinema was comfy and compact. Very reasonable. One screen had cosy double seats.

Popped in during the rain to watch the inbetweeners movie, great sound and picture and nice not to sit in a large showcase/odeon environment, well worth watching a movie here if on holiday.

I notice all the reviews are by adults. This review is different- I am Jessica, age 12 and here is my opinion: A great cinema, has five screens and different films to try and capture everyone's interest. Fantastic treat selection- and all around comfortable seats and good value.

comfy seats, good value, friendly service .It was refurbished a few years ago and saved from closure. Good to see an independent cinema still open.

I can't go to the cinema without buying popcorn although I often find myself with a pick and mix as well. This cinema has several screens and caters for many tastes.

This old cinema has been divided into several screens, one with armchairs with small tables. In reception there is a small cafe. Regularly showing current films. Support it as Ilfracombe needs to keep its cinema.

As locals we go here at least once/twice a week depending on work. The films are constantly changing so there is a wide variety and something for everyone. Screens are good big size and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. The staff are always polite and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Even take your wine in the lux screen... More

Visited this real gem of a cinema during a short stay in Ilfracombe, and wished we had this wonderful attraction in our town. Pre booked tickets online to watch Bad neighbors. On entering the venue the staff met us with warm and welcoming smiles, genuine, not the false 'have a nice day through gritted teeth' types of smile! A credit... More
