A huge statue of a heavily pregnant lady. Didn't find it very appealing, many others making similar negative comments.

I suppose this statue does offer some focus in the upcoming Ilfracombe..and has helped bring new tourists to the town..wouldn't be my main focus though..Ilfracombe us beautiful when the tide is in..

Well worth the visit to go and see this. The two different sides are interesting. Parking is ok but I can imagine it's full on hotter days.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and whilst I found this eye catching it is not my type of sculpture. It certainly dominates the harbour and attracts attention

I wouldn't make a trip to Ilfracombe just to view this however; if visiting Ilfracombe (which is a lovely resort), it is worth a visit.

This statue must receive varying reviews but my son and I love it and think it looks incredible facing out to sea. She is stunning and definitely makes you think to understand what she stands for, but she won’t be to everyone’s taste!

Not my cup of tea at all. Don't like it an eyesore in my opinion I think the art community love it though

I simply adore visiting Ilfracombe harbour. Lots to do with nice walks, stops for refreshments and the views are stunning.

What were you thinking. This is a blot on the landscape. Just awful. They mention it's on loan. The sooner it's off loan the better.

Interesting statue definitely worth a visit it’s a talking point whether you like it or not. Parking all around makes it easy to visit.
