If you're into a little history, this museum is a little gem. It displays, animates and video's the history of Tenby. Takes about an hour and costs £4.95 which will give you admission valid for one year.

Local museums all depend on donated collections, famous residents ... and struggle against lack of funding, but this one is disappointing, unless perhaps you live locally.

A rather steep climb to this little museum is well worth it. Some good paintings, sketches by Augustus John and his wife on display. Knowledgeable, approachable staff are eager to help. I visit whenever we come to Tenby.

Well presented, with plenty of artefacts, plus art works. Quite a variety of objects and some activities for children.
