These beautiful gardens provide an excellent model for botanical gardens. They are are beautifully laid out and managed. No litter in sight. These gardens are everything that my local botanical gardens are not. There are good facilities for children, a lovely friendly cafe, an abundance of wildlife, clean toilets and a welcome for visitors. The flower dispalys (in March) were... More

This has been my local park since I was 6 years old, I have many a happy memory of this place. There's a lake with plenty of ducks with paths all the way round and bridges to cross. There's a childrens play area with crazy golf in the summer. A fernery and you can buy plants from the gardeners. A... More

These are very nice gardens in Southport. There. Are plenty of nice quiet spots and loads of paths and nice flower beds. A lovely lake with swans. Nice for the kids to play as well. Easy to sit and keep an eye on them.

The park has a bandstand where brass bands play, an area with swings and roundabouts for young children, a crazy golf course, a bird sanctuary, a garden centre, lakes with ducks and even a couple of underground tunnels! My only criticism is that the toilets are located close to the main entrance and I have known them to be closed... More

This is one of the nicest parks in the north west, and so carefully planted to offer flowers, plants and evergreens all year round. There is a jolly good little cafe, ducks to feed, peaceful tracks to follow and other things of interest to see.

Has lots to do here, animals with ducks to feed , boats on the lake a play area and crazy golf. Some nice sights as you walk round too. A small cafe which serves hot and cold drinks and food. In the summer there is also a little potting shed that sells plants.
