Aberdyfi golf club The golf club has a railway station platform next to it for access and a car park on the road side of the railway. Wheelchair access is good. Food is available and of course drinks from the bar. The view is splendid with outside sitting for the best days.

The course, which had been on my bucket list for some time, is well described by other reviewers. Suffice to say, classic links with bumps and hollows, brutal rough and fast greens. Thank goodness the wind was light ! I'd say that the facilities are quite traditional but what set Aberdyfi apart was the welcome and interest we encountered from... More

Made our annual pilgrimage to play here. Course was amazing few greens were tyned and sanded but otherwise very good. Changing facilities and staff all excellent along with bacon baps and sandwiches after playing. We will return.

If you play golf you've heard of Aberdovey GC. I play it most years and most people will say its a bucket list course. However, the day does not start with the first tee shot or the last putt. The whole experiance of Aberdovey is made up by the staff, the bar service, pro shop and admin staff really put... More

A real links experience with 9 holes out and 9 in toward home. The wind is mainly left to right on the front and right to left on the back. You'll need all the shots in the bag to make all 18 holes, in particular when the wind blows hard. The 1st and the 18th holes are amongst the toughest,... More

Arrived Thursday afternoon, for a one night stay. After driving up from Southampton we were parched, so we immediately after checking in headed for the bar, unfortunately I was not suitably attired and was asked to change, quite right too, but after a four and half hour drive I was desperate. Never mind we headed off in to town 10-15... More

Played and stayed at Aberdovy Golf Club Wednesday eve to Thursday. First the stay. Very well furnished, clean twin room with en suite facilities was ideal for my son and I. The 'Dormy' location was quiet, even tho next to the railway line, and had all you could want for an overnight stay. Included was breakfast which was superb. The... More

Links course with undulating fairways and plenty of rough. Ideally you need to be straight but it is a little forgiving so give it a go. The shop is well stocked for both men and ladies and is competitively priced. We played in an Open, the best way to experience the course for a good rate. Book early if you... More

Loved this course nice to play without the wind. Some testing holes though. Great setting and would definitely go back for another round of golf. If you enjoy links golf give it ago.
