This is a small garden by NT standards, but worth a visit in Spring to see the lovely displays of rhododendrons. It's also good to make the effort to get there by walking from the nearby Alderley Edge woods (also NT), it's a pleasant, varied...More

Found this place after visiting Tatton Park which is not far. It a real find. There are carved wooden hares all round the gardens for the children to find. There is a walled garden which is a delight and totally safe to pic nic and...More

This is not a garden which would suit everybody - it's not laid out as a formal garden or a cottage garden, but as other reviewers have said, it's a haven of peace and tranquillity. For us, it started with the friendly, helpful and informative...More

Beautiful, tranquil gardens for a peaceful stroll. Even as an adult I enjoyed spotting the wooden hares amongst the foliage and I liked the contrast between the walled garden and woodland area. I currently walk with a stick and found the paths accessible and it...More

Lovely small garden to visit, especially in spring/summer as the flowers are in bloom. Within Hare Hill is a woodland area, a few plants for sale and small second hand bookshop. There is a walled garden, as a great place for a picnic, and the...More

Firstly, If I wasn't a national trust member I would have been furious. As I am a member and live not far it was all free part of my membership. It is very small, probably a 15ish minute walk around. Not a lot to see...More

As National trust members it was free to park and enter Hare Hill, if I would have had to pay then I would have been disappointed. Small area of woodland style gardens with a walled garden at its centre. Tranquil but only a couple of...More
