We visited in winter, when it was more mud than sand. It was also quite empty, so it's a good time if you want a solitary walk. Many of the facilities were closed, but you still have to pay for parking.
Decided to have a stroll along the beach on nice November morning , beachfront and surrounding always kept spotless prior to "some" visitors dumping there rubbish wherever they choose, how can this beach not be awarded 5 stars, obviously the beach deteriorates throughout the day...More
We stopped here on our way home from traveling in wales with our camper . What lovely beach which you can drive on n park up , word of warning we were told the tide come right in so no over nights on it .
We visited Weston super Mare today on a sunny day in November. Our Springer Spaniel has a great time running on this amazing beach along with other numerous dogs . Dogs are allowed on the beach during winter months. All very clean of litter, etc....More
Took my 2 youngest here for a couple of days. Lots to do here and Beach is just wonderful . Donkey rides at pocket money prices, great see aquarium on pier , you can get discount tickets from tourist information , cinema is just fab...More
Except when the tide's in! As the beach is very shallow, the sea can come in FAST and a number of people have been caught out by this.
In normal conditions it's one of the better beaches for strolling along. The sand varies in quality...More
