Try to get on one of the special tours - fascinating house and ballet museum. In the middle of Richmond Park, you can combine your visit with picnic in the Isabella Plantation and a walk in Richmond Park.

This is not an easy Museum to access for the casual visitor as it is right in the middle of Richmond Park, which does not have close public transport links and there is little or no car parking immediately adjacent to the Museum, so check the website carefully for opening times and directions. However, once there anyone with a real... More

You are met by a friendly gentleman and driven to the Museum. This is because the museum is in the middle of the glorious Richmond Park and you cannot walk to it. You have to book your visit as the museum is within a working ballet school. You are then told where to meet the driver in a car park... More

For any fan of ballet, or former dancer (so many out there)--this museum is a delight to visit. Not easy to get to, a LONG walk from mass transit, it also requires pre-booking. But make the effort--and learn more about the dedication and work required to make it as a dancer.
