The staff and guides were excellent. I had never gone on a trail ride before, I’d only been on a horse once or twice in my life and to be honest was a little terrified of them growing up as they are such huge majestic animals.. I’m even hesitant to feed the ones who live in a field behind my house (I’ll give them carrots from a distance but never right from my hand). For our anniversary my boyfriend surprised me today and took us to ‘The Broken Rail Ranch.’ Our guides Savanah & Kiera were wonderful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time & were comfortable! My horse was great. I even fed her with a flat hand prior to our ride (yay me! Baby steps Haha). The ranch was very fun and professional. I was able to trot and even do a canter for a few meters!! (Now was this the same girl who was terrified at the start?? Heck yes!) It was an Amazing date day with my boyfriend and a day I won’t soon forget. I would highly recommend this ranch for couples looking for a fun creative date idea to get out in nature and maybe push out of your comfort zone as well, or families or first time riders like myself. My friend and I absolutely loved our trail ride with Broken Rail Ranch!! Our horses were lovely and our trail guide Sophie was a pleasure to talk to. The horses are clearly cared for, loved, and were very well mannered. Gorgeous views on the trail. We 100% recommend.

Booked the Lake View ride and honestly it was really nice. Lorena our guide was very patient with us and the horses are well behaved and loved. It was my husband and I alone with her and she made sure we were comfortable the entire way. I would definitely recommend the ranch and activity.
