West Kelowna, enjoy the versatility of these incredible wineries, tucked away between the breathtaking scenic lakes and mountain views. A selection of bold reds to choose from or the fruity whites and rose, a little something for everyone.<br>Highly acclaimed wines for all palates. Definitely a trip worth taking.

Came once for a bubbles tasting and had great service from Valario. He was super knowledgeable and friendly and we booked a second visit for brunch in the domes with a larger group based on that experience. The second visit was equally as good. Brunch was family style which we loved and it all tasted delicious. There was something for everyone and it was such a great experience. The domes were heated and staff made sure we were well taken care of and comfortable. While getting ready to leave we were standing by the tasting are and Ryan suggested we taste wine while we wait. He was wonderful and so knowelgable and friendly. We bought several more bottles thanks to that tasting. Can’t wait to come back here. They have done a great job training staff and the winery itself it quite beautiful.

On New Years Eve 2020 a group of us (4) attended ‘Dining in the Dome’ event at Frind Estate Winery in West Kelowna BC. The clear acrylic domes can host groups of 4 to 6. Pre-booking required. The menu each night is set (available for review on their website) and each course is paired with the appropriate wine. We were greeted at the front door with a complimentary mulled wine and escorted to our private space. It was ours for the evening (from roughly 6:30 to 10:00pm). I don’t normally post on events such as these but this was so incredible that it must be shared! The team of 3 that served us was incredible, very organized and answered all our questions during the evening. Each course was delivered to the dome by the team using COVID safe protocols. The food was amazing as were the wine pairings. It was a totally relaxed atmosphere. Did we get enough to eat and drink? Absolutely! We were all stuffed at the end of the evening. This event was well worth the cost. As the evening was wrapping up, the manager on duty checked in with us to ensure that our expectations were met or exceeded. This exceeded all of our expectations!!! We went back two days later and became wine club members We would all do this again in the future

Absolutely beautiful setting for a winery, but we were treated so poorly we walked out before we could experience a wine tasting. We bought a bottle of wine to share while waiting (since tasting is 10.00 each) we always buy a few bottles if the wine is good. The sommelier rudely informed us that the bottle we bought didn't go towards tasting fees? completely ridiculous! We were going to continue with a tasting anyways, but the woman was so rude and condescending we walked out. She proceeded to mock us and stare at us down as we walked out. We were appalled. I contacted a manager through the FB page and received no response. So many fantastic wineries in town, we will never go back to Frind.

Frind has so much potential. With beautiful atmosphere and views, this winery can become one of the best. However, the taste of the wine is mediocre at best. The worst thing is the service. You can tell the staff are not well trained. They do not act professional, they are not friendly and welcoming. I am not saying it is their fault, but you can tell the training is lacking and they run the place like chickens with their head cut off. They are clearly lacking direction. You cannot even compare the service to that of nearby wineries like Mission Hill and Quails Gate where the service is superb and staff is professional. Someone needs to give the poor staff direction and a couple lessons on etiquette and professionalism. On a positive note, the baked goods and coffee is tasty at Annie’s. Too bad the same can’t be said for the rest of their food. The pretzels are small and dry, the salads and sandwiches are nothing special at all. The people working at Annie’s always seem frazzled and have trouble taking the simplest of orders. They would probably do great with some more direction, organization and a smile here and there. Anyways I do wish Frind the best and hope they succeed. I hope they can reach the standards of some of the other wineries in the area. Shame that from what I’ve seen (and I have been there too many times to count)- it seems like they are heading in the opposite direction. That is unfortunate.

We have visited Frind many times starting last year when they only had a small tasting room open as we are within walking distance. This year we loved that they opened Annie’s and took friends and family anytime we had visitors, and there was something wrong every single time, but we understood they had just opened so we wanted to cut them some slack. Our last visit was the straw that broke the camel’s back, and I wrote the winery an email asking for a response a couple weeks ago, and of course did not receive one. My grievances: 1. They will not give you water if you order at the café for the picnic area, instead force you to purchase a bottle of water. This is illegal, you must serve water to any guests that ask for it. 2. Our coffee orders have been wrong every single time and they do not apologize or offer to correct - ie. a server gave my sister a black coffee and then argued that what was in her cup was the latte she ordered. 3. They have stopped warming up their paninis when you order for the picnic area but do not warn you when you order the cold dry sandwich. When I ran back in to ask if there was any chance they could warm it, the lady behind the register plainly said “no, we don’t do that, and now that I’ve given you the sandwich, we can’t take it back” with the most attitude she could muster. This place really needs to work on their customer service. And as I can tell by the way management is answering grievances in the reviews below, it comes all the way from the top. We really wanted to love this place, gave it probably a dozen chances, even paddle boarded there, but I can’t support a place that teaches their employees to be blatantly disrespectful to guests.
