Wine, Sun, Beach, Annie’s……plan to spend the afternoon.
If you’re looking for a great way to spend an afternoon, head down to Frind Estate Winery. Welcoming friendly staff, the servers at Annie’s went out of their way to accommodate a couple of active toddlers. Menu choices range from about 17.00 up to 55.00. The servings are generous, we found that sharing some tasty appetizers was more than enough. The wines here are lovely, being rather partial to reds, I found them all quite elegant, gentle tannins made for a great finish. Joined the Estate Club without hesitation. If I had one suggestion, it might be to make sure all the staff in the tasting room were a bit more knowledgeable about these great wines. I stopped to chat with one fellow, who didn’t know what grapes were in several of the wines, told me there were no Bordeaux grapes in the Okanagan, and that Syrah was used in the making of their Bordeaux style red……doing a great disservice to the legend that is Mr. von Krosigk.

    Amazing experience!
It’s a beautiful setting for a lunch date or a picnic. We did not make a reservation but we were accommodated promptly with a wine tasting while we waited for our table on the patio. We learnt a lot about the winery and enjoyed all our wines. The menu had a good selection and our food was delicious. Our server was very sweet and polite. She did not rush us and we had a very enjoyable time. The view of Okanagan lake and grounds was spectacular. We will certainly be back.

    Great lunch spot
We enjoyed a lovely lunch on the patio at Annie’s after a long drive from Vancouver. Beautiful setting and helpful staff. The wait was about a half hour for a table despite several patio tables being unoccupied - perhaps the kitchen is understaffed. We preferred to wait rather than order from the take-out operation alongside as the picnic tables were all occupied. The food was good value and filling, though not particularly memorable. Their lunch share boards with a variety of items are the highlight. Excellent Okanagan wines at very reasonable prices, our tip if you are driving is to get a bottle with your meal, have just the amount with which you are allowed to drive on, and you can take the rest of the bottle with you.

    Nice wines, beautiful grounds.
This winery is beautifully situated on the shores of the Okanagan lake. The building is newly renovated and spacious with high ceilings. The only part of the tasting I did not appreciate was “where” we did the tasting. With such beautiful grounds the tasting would have been so much more special on the terrace with a view of the lake and beach. The tasting was done indoors at a bar counter. It took away from the experience. I would return here.

Recommended if you are not in a Hurry
Service was veryyyyy slow. 2 1/2 hours to get lunch? Staff was friendly but could step it up a bit. Shouldn't have to call them over to get a order placed. Food was good Caesar salad could use more garlic. Wings were very good crispy and moist inside. Table of 8 and everyone was happy with the food not so much the time it took to get it. Would recommend but just know you should not have any other appointments within a 3 hour timeframe right after, Ambience is great.

Nice wines, tasting was just alright
This winery is definitely one that people should visit because of where it situated. You can walk out and if your feet in the Okanogan lake if you wish. The building is new and very spacious. The grounds are beautiful. It would’ve been nice to do the wine tasting, with either a view of the water or outside. We did our tasting indoors and stood at a bar counter so it felt like we could have been at any random bar. The service was wonderful.

Great service and pet friendly patio
This winery is pet friendly which is why we picked it for one of our wine tasting venues. We made a reservation ahead of time which is highly recommended. Enjoyed our wine tasting and even got extra for a slightly long wait time. Great service lovely ambience and very friendly to our dog. Loved our visit there.

Phoned this morning to check it would be open given the cold and snow - got a recorded message so drove from Revelstoke only to find the kitchen was closed. There was cabinet food which was fine however the 18 year old (who was the only person serving) was completely disinterested, completely forget to start heating 2 of our dishes, when we finally found him his apology was very much ‘sorry not sorry’ . I suspect he had been just dragged in to fill a staffing shortage but it still doesn’t excuse the very average attitude. Would definitely struggle to recommend this place, despite the gorgeous setting and would definitely not return.

We experienced the “dome dining” dinner and it was amazing. The unique experience of dining in a glass dome along with outstanding food quality and service, easily make this a wonderful “must do” experience.

Awesome place with super service. We have been here twice this month and both times were very enjoyable. We had booked one of the Domes outside for a happy hour tasting and food service with 4 other friends. The domes can seat 6 usually. Each chair has a Faux fur comforter you can wrap around your shoulders. There is a heater above the table and a radiator under the table. The tasting flights were 4 different wines and the food was exceptional. The entire staff is wonderful. Would highly recommend. Great and unusual outing with friends.

We were looking forward to visiting another Okanagan winery and stopped by for a music event.
Music was great.... service at the winery was not.
