Lots of little restaurants and souvenir stands. Several movies have been made here including Romancing the Stone. Lively place on weekends and holidays.

Stopped to view the falls and loved every minute. Such a beautiful setting. The falls were lovely and the food on site, particularly the tamales Oaxacan style, were great!

Just a short cab ride from Xico to the falls.There is a nice mirador as you enter the fall but the best views are along the trail. Be sure to hike all the way to the bottom (over 300 stairs) for the best close up...More
