Not much to see, you can look over the fence at the mine, and then pay too much to pick through their rubbish to possibly find a rock worth while.

1st a tour of the actual working mine. The owner gave us this tour...the family owns it for over 34 years. She was very informative indeed. Then get a pail and work the fields picking up what ever appeals to you. Such beautiful pieces. Sorry...More

Since they charge a fairly hefty admission fee, be sure to allocate plenty of time to make it worth your money. If you have a lot of time, we'd recommend checking out some of the other mines in the area that don't charge a fee...More
