Visiting on a Thursday in mid-September we had the whole garden to ourselves for two hours. Parking in a lay-by outside you walk up a lovely drive to an garden shed cum reception area where you can summon the owner (and his two dogs) with...More

It was just as the description said a small garden. The hydrangea were in full bloom. Amazing oak trees in the small compact woodland walk and the ferns were in great shape.lots of intetesting plants and trees. We had a very warm welcome, a map...More

An enjoyable garden to wander round in a nice location. There were plenty of summer flowers to see but the best time to visit would be the spring when the Rhododendrons are in flower.

I have to agree that this garden is probably at its best in spring. There is a good deal of new planting that needs to mature, but improvements are well under way. We spent over an hour on our visit found it well worth while...More

Unfortunately I forgot to read the reviews...big mistake. The place is very small, 20 min is more then enough, not much to see, specially in september. What they call "Arboretum" is a lawn with few trees...the grass was pleasantly soft to sit on, that is...More

We drove for an hour from north Hampshire to Spinners, encouraged by their website, the promise of 'rare and unusual plants' and the fact that it is an RHS partner garden. The garden is simply not worth visiting. We spent 20 minutes there at most....More
