Very pretty gardens. Good walk through bush and uphill, down again in places. You must allow plenty of time to enjoy this walk. Tucked away, and around corners etc you come across some pretty amazing and unusual Sculptures. The Winery building itself is impressive in its Architecture and setting. Unfortunately we could not stay and enjoy the ambience that the... More

Great Lily lakes in bloom. The forest is up to arboretum standard. The paths well maintained. It does have some sharp inclines and descents with steps and doing the side trails may be too much for the less fit. The leaflet is helpful not just for pondering the art but for identifying the vegetation. Birds were few and not that... More

Loved walking through paddocks, native bush & around the pond seeing all the sculptures. Make sure you have enough time to explore and enjoy the walk.

Good selection of dishes , both individual and for sharing. The tables overlooking the Lilly pond are a delight. It can get a bit warm in the glasshouse on a sunny day, but there are lots of tables outside.

We had a great day at the Brick Bay Winery and Sculpture Trail. Plenty of parking. Trail easy to walk. Loved the Kauri Forest area especially as it was a humid day and the canopy kept us cool. Sculptures were very interesting. We had a lovely cheeseboard and a glass of wine. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would... More

Came here on Sunday before returning to Auckland, and arrived around 10:30am so we were almost the 1st people to do the tour. They say to allow around 1 hour to do the trail but I would say give yourself at least 1hr 30mins, as we ran out of time. The sculpture is quite modern so not to everyone's taste,... More

Although a lo of hard work has been done to create this trail, quite frankly the sculptures were a little too modern for our taste. A few were well worth making the journey for, but the cost of entrance was high, and we had very little return for our money.

We have lived in Auckland all our lives and yesterday was the first time we discovered Brick Bay Winery and Sculpture trail. It is excellent for any overseas visitors or out-of-towners. The restaurant is fantastic and overlooks a very large pond full of the most beautiful water lilies. It's a destination that everyone should add to their 'To Do' list... More
