If you go to Lissos the main area with the church and mosaic floor is on your right when you descend down towards the valley. Go through a gate and up some steps to the mosaic floor. Then return to the gate before turning right...More

we hiked here and back from Sougia. the bay at Lissos is lovely with a small empty beach. you can get a boat taxi back for five euro if you do not want to hike the return. quiet and beautiful, recommended

If you're not an experienced and avid hiker, my advice is to take a pleasure boat ($5 Euro) from Sougia to Lissos and walk back. It is a nice spot to swim and explore the ruins, but the hike is harder--all the hikes in Greece...More

A one hour walk from Sougia harbour, through a nice gorge. Sougia closes almost totally in the winter, i wonder why, because i was hiking in a T shirt. I met noone, only goats.
