Was given a Groupon Voucher for dog sledding that stated "use this voucher by 15.03.2016" but when we called to book on February 26th we were told it was no longer valid, it had to be booked by February 10th as per the fine print. They are crooks, the voucher could not be more misleading.

On top of it, the person who spoke to us didn't even care. Buyers beware!!!

My family and I had the most amazing experience dog sledding today. The day started out rough as there was a snowstorm with whiteout driving conditions on our way from our hotel in Laval. What should have been a 1.5 hour drive took over 3 hours. We were really late but the staff was understanding and greeted us with a smile when we finally arrived.
Vincent was our guide and he was professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. It is obvious that he and the entire staff are passionate about what they do.
Each of us had the opportunity to drive a sled and also to sit in one and just enjoy the view. The scenery is breathtaking and the dogs are very well trained. This was a "must do" adventure. It was worth every penny and the drive (we are from Amherstburg Ontario).

First off, Four Seasons Adventure also goes by Aventure Quatre Saisons (which makes it a lot easier to find their website on the internet).

They offer all kinds of outdoor activities year-round but my wife and I tried the dogsledding as part of our Valentine's Day celebration. It's a fantastic experience for anyone who's looking for something fun and different to do in the winter. The trip we did with them was an hour long on beginner trails (we got this as part of a two for one deal on Groupon). The guides are very nice and take the time to explain clearly how to steer the sled and control the dogs. It's not terribly difficult as the dogs pretty much know where they're going anyway. You just need to control the speed of the sled you don't bump into the dogs while going downhill.

We also got the impression that the dogs are very well treated by the owners. They looked healthy, happy, and well fed which isn't always the case with some of these dogsledding places. The majority of the dogs are huskies and they were all very friendly with the six people partaking in the activity.

Overall, this was a ton of fun and my wife and I plan to go back next year with our friends to do a longer excursion. It's definitely something worth trying at least once in your life.
