Had a great 12km canoe trip down the Rouge River. Staff were friendly and well organised - transport was waiting for us at the end to bring us back to the start point. Kayak Bistro was only around the corner from us as we were staying in Labelle and therefore it was extremely convenient!! Would recommend

We were a group of friends & family(age range 9 to 76) that headed out here today on a gorgeous, hot and sunny Saturday Labour day weekend. They open at 9 and got there before 10am. I had reserved 6 kayaks a few days prior. The check-in worked effectively. Staff was friendly and discussed our action plan on the river for the next few hours. We took the 12 km route which we started at 10:05. Rivière-rouge is just a beautiful river. Not too deep. Sandy river bed. We could have probably walked the river for the whole 12 km to give you an idea how that river bed had just sand, no rocks at all. We stopped for a 1 hour lunch on one of the many sandy river banks. Really just an enjoyable and memorable day that we ended at the 12km at around 3pm. Kayakbistro then picked us up with their yellow bus to make our way back to starting point. We had drinks only but you can dine there on the nice terrasse overlooking the river. Looking forward to next summer to head to Labelle again, just about 2 hrs from Montreal and not too far from Tremblant. Eric L.
