We came here as part of our Discovering Archaeology module so we had a lot of added benefit from a tour guide, but the amphitheatre itself is amazing to walk around, and it’s weirdly pleasant to see local children playing football and games around it....More

There aren't any picnic tables but as the car parking is very close (adjacent) then it's possible to take your own picnic chairs and table should you wish. Lots of grassy area to pitch up with chairs or lay blanket on the... More
