The tour of the Chateau included much museum-like displays and beautiful architecture. Our tour was led byEtienne Payet. He was very friendly and informative. He explained the various soil conditions and how they affected the wines. The wine cellar was very impressive. We than had a wine tasting. He explained the wine and answered all of our questions.

Lovely ambiance, but the "tour" was very brief (mainly viewing oak barrels), and there was implicit pressure to buy wine.

We were recommended to visit this winery by an American couple we met at our hotel. My husband and I both enjoy full bodied wines and we found these wines a little on the light side, but still tasty. We took the 25 euro tour which took about 1 hour and then tasting of 5 different wines. We bought tickets... More

We came here as part of the the Burgundy Gold Wine Tour. Excellent stop and Etien was our guide. 95% of their wines sold direct to individuals, remainder to restaurants/hotels. Worth a visit.

We visited the Chateau and bought the €25 'tour', which was the only thing on offer. The guide spoke was friendly and luckily excellent English. We were shown the vineyards from a distance, then taken and shown some of the barrel rooms, before finishing with a tasting of 3 different wines. The whole thing took just over 30 minutes. The... Even on a rainy day, this was a beautiful scenery. You can see the quality of the vineyard the moment you step onto the property. The people here clearly love what they are doing. The wine was wonderful, if you're willing to splurge the Grand Vin du Chateau de Pommard is exquisite.

Our young family was warmly welcomed to a handsome building possessing a character that can only be found in this part of the world. We had time to explore before the introduction to our guide for the afternoon, Étienne, who helped place the vineyard and cellars in context by providing a brief history of the chateau. He answered our mildly... More
