We had our own vehicle so we wrnt first to the tip of Borneo, and then we just took a random turn right and landed in an amazing, secluded beach - few kilometres of golden sand just for us. Water was amazing, we were almost not leaving it! The obly thing that was pretty bad but we just realized few... More

There is a scenic beauty and a sense of harmony all around and the empty beautiful beach is a place one would imagine honeymooners would want to go. The blue sea and sunny sky just seem to blend together against the rocks along the shore line. There isn’t a lot to do once your there but worth seeing and feeling... More

Great place for rugged beautiful scenery - Simpang Mengayau. I love to stand there & see the Sulu Sea & Siuth China Sea converge. I visited 2-3 times before over several years around 2009-2011. I timed my trips to catch the sunset. I love the place - it reminds me of God & His amazing creative work of nature -... More

Just because I'd be a shame not to, considering we're working here 😂 Simpang Mengayau is known as the tip of borneo. Situated in kudat, it is relatively a long roadtrip from kota kinabalu so make sure the company is awesome! There's actually multiple stops on the way. We started with a the best, hearthy tomyam at Bakut Canteen. Then... More

Very windy, very warm place, it is better to reach around 5pm. Get ready to see the beautiful sunset around 5.50pm-6.20pm (time may differ). Check weather before going, bring umbrella if necessary as there do not have any shade to cover if rain happens.

I hired a Motorbike from KK for 70RM per day and drove here. Took about 5 hours after I got a little lost haha. The tip of Borneo is beautiful at sunset but other than that there's not much else, unless you go diving ect but there is better diving throughout SE Asia anyway. Accommodation is more expensive here in... More

We went there quite a last minute plan. At first we want to do island hopping bit due to the rain we divert our plan to Tip of Borneo seeking for a sunshine. The journey nearly took 3 hours. It's quite an isolated area and luckily we have waze and few signboards along the way. There are few guesthouse available... More

Travel from KK took about 3hrs. This is my second visit here where 1st visit was 10years ago. Reason was the endless sea view where Chinese call 天涯海角. Half way we stop by bought Just famous peanut which is sweet n big. Every bite of peanut feel full of peanut. So good. The beach was super hot. We went year... More

Quite a long way to visit from Kota Kinabalu, but glad I made the effort. Desolate but charming location, with long white sandy beaches and windswept landscape. Made the most of the sunshine while it lasted, as the rain rolled in off the sea all too soon.

Probably around 30 minutes from Kudat town. The beach is littered with rubbish washed ashore by the strong waves and currents. Not a place where you'd want to swim in unless you're a really strong swimmer. Not many places to hang out after dark as almost all the restaurants close after 9. If you need a place to just relax...
