This is an amazing, surprising site, complete with famous, delicate early medieval frescoes of high quality, but it's not a cool, amjusing place for tromping around with kids. What's left are remains from the Lombard kingdom, a myth or mystery to most educated people. If you are curious, go! And use a guidebook so that the ruins start to look... More

This attraction has no reviews in English, which is a real shame, because it is really interesting. We visited the Archaeological Park of Castelseprio exactly one year ago, on August 4th, 2013. It was a Sunday, which is the best day to visit, because everything is actually open for sightseeing. Castelseprio is just one part of a larger UNESCO World... More
