I arranged a visit to the Domaine before travelling on holiday to France. Valerie was very helpful and arranged a taxi for us. The museum is very informative and the wine tasting was superb together with the complimentary cheeses and tapenade. It is very heartening to see a family business where everyone is involved.

Fabulous wine & great little museum in a gorgeous town. Family run by the wonderful Castans who are as welcoming and friendly as they are knowledgeable about wine. Pop in!

We visited Domaine Castan just last weekend - and what a great time to visit too! Not only was the winery celebrating it's 100th anniversary, but the weather was glorious! We enjoyed walking around the museum and (of course) sampling the wine. Thankfully we managed to pack the wine we bought into our luggage so we can enjoy some at... More

We stayed in Cazouls for a total of 5 months. We always bought our red wine from Domaine Castan and got to know the very friendly family. When we go back with friends they all love the small museum and the wine. The AOC red at 1.80 Euros a litre is the wine to buy.

While visiting friends in Maurassan they suggested a trip to visit Andre and Valerie's Domaine and museum. This was one of the highlights of our stay, a great friendly welcome by knowledgeable and passionate people. We were taken into the museum and left to look around all of the historical artefacts connected to the region and the wines, at our... More

We visited Domaine Castan today with friends. The whole visit was really great. Our welcome was fantastic and we first visited the museum which has some very beautiful old machinery, all related to the growing of grapes through to the production of wine and the commecerialisation. They also had some very beautiful pictures from byegone times. The wine is also... More
