It has more kiosks than other beachs in the city. It is more crowded on weekends too. Beautiful enconter of river's water with sea's water.

This is a beautiful beach. You have a lot of options to eat. But it is crowded and we can see garbage on the floor. It need to be more taken care of. But it has a beautiful landscape

great beaches at high tide for surfing and swimming, at low tide for rock pools and walking. At each beach entrance from the road there are a couple of eateries, serving food and drink. Plus there are beach sellers, coconut sellers, ice cream, etc. Deck chairs and umbrellas can be hired for around 4-6Reais. A bargain!

They don't care about us! Truth! imagine a beach that had everything to be a turistical hot spot. It becames a simple and critical example of how things go wrong when government doesn't works as it should. Don't enter river waters, skin diseases are waiting , bad smell everywhere, .. Run while you can!

Buraquinho Beach has a beautiful meeting between the Joanes River and the before mentioned sea, however it suffers a lot for being a low-profile public beach. When going to Buraquinho Beach its not hard to encounter high volume stereos, drunken people and good portion of low-class attendees. If your intentions is to blend in brazil popular culture you could easily choose between this one or the Jaua beach, just a few kilometers from it.

The place was a little over crowded with lazy drunk brasilians, that through garbage everywhere...but we managed to find some place in the small lagoon/river they have in theback...did some stand up paddleboarding and ate some decent fish.

The beach is delightful. The problem with the beach is the action of most of the stall owners and employees. They say that the use of chairs, tables and umbrellas is only for consumption (which has no minimum) and that there are no other fees and in the end you are surprised with a service charge and other unforeseen amounts. I recommend that you record what is negotiated as soon as you use the stalls and that the police are called in case of undue charges.

The beach is beautiful, a shame it's dirty and the stallholders are not able to clean at least in front of their stalls, I didn't stay there because of the rubbish scattered on the sand

Beautiful beach, although the waters are a little murky, some stalls are very attractive and may have live music.
The times I went it was crowded, so if you're looking for something more private this isn't an option.
