This park is amazing. Besides a beach and kids splash pad, they rental kayaks, canoes and paddle boats. You can fish in at lest 4 lakes and there are miles of trails to bike , walk and any other forms of exercise. It is a beautiful park and is accessible all year long.

Visited here last weekend for a Sunday afternoon bike ride and was not disappointed. We had no idea this great park was so close to our home! We parked at Johnson Park just to the east and took a the northern most trail around that which was very hilly. If you're looking for flat terrain, take the southernmost trail in... More

My kids are huge nature buffs, and this park did not disappoint! They loved finding frogs and fish and all the birds that live here. Lots of trails to bike or hike and plenty of places to fish. The playground is huge and was a big hit. Perfect spot for a picnic. You do have to pay to enter the... More

A beautiful park with many paved trails. Great location to walk, bike, or run. Not usually crowded and pretty peaceful. The natural gas smell is not the best (and it's weird that the gas pumps are running near a beach), but that's about the only downside. I love coming here to walk for a few hours.

Glad we chose to go while we were in town. The entrance is a little hard to find. The place is pretty big and their are big rod iron fences surrounding it. Look for the big building in the middle and head towards that. Lots of places to sit and have a picnic or purchase food there. The bathrooms have... More
