We vere given a excellent tour of the winery by the owner. Wine tasting was very good. Ended up buying a couple of bottles.

We started with hearing and seeing how the grapes are grown, followed by a visit to the casks where the juice is fermented and aged. The tasting at the end was informative and our hosts were very knowledgeable and friendly. Well worth a visitMore

A fabulous chateau and organic vineyard with delicious wine. The tour was lead by the the owners wife who has a PHD in biology- so very informative. Her English was amazing as she has lived in England. Highly recommended.More

I'm not a big fan of Bordeaux in general, but Bernateau produce some excellent wines in the St-Emilion appellation that are really well balanced and not to austere. They just converted to organic, and the staff is super-friendly. I strongly recommend it.More
