Far better places to visit in Muscat than spending 3 OMR (£6.00 to you and I) per head to walk around an empty auditorium. I am sure it would be a very different place when there is a show on.

I was in there for Red Army Opera scene. There is was lovely ambience. After that, I spent time in the social area. Restaurant, cafe, and shopping area were fascinating.

Lucky enough to go there to a concert. However they do tours of the opera house. So if your not lucky enough to attend an event. Do a tour of it they do them at certain times of the day.

Hi... The tours are approximately a half hour long. Yes children are welcome although you may need to carry them at some time if they are small as there are a few stairs [or manage a stroller carefully].... not too bad with... More

Hello.... You can go to the opera house in person or ring and find out the times that the tours are on. The opera house is open everyday 9am to 6pm....except Friday which has shorter hours. Go online for phone numbers or... More
