Very beautiful mosque. Peaceful and very calm. Ladies need to cover themselves fully but gents should be in normal clothes like pant shirt or jan t- shirt.

Visited the mosque with family and the women had to cover up arms and head. The architecture was beautiful and the interiors were rich and made with great attention to detail. Overall loved the whole experience and is a must see.

Enjoy a walk around the grounds, taking in the garden and water features. Once inside get ready to be amazed by the blingtastic swarovski chandelier, tiled mosaics & the ever present smell of Oman - frankincense.

Wonderful piece of Islamic Architecture. The carpet in the mail hall is all hand woven and is 2nd largest in the world of it's kind. The chandelier is super-big. Conservative dressing is a must. Men should keep it simple and women should ensure to cover their body in full including hairs. Abayas are available on rental basis alternatively.

An excellent piece of architecture. It's simply marvellous. The carpets, the chandeliers , the marbles above all the inscription of Quranic verses and the intricate art work is unparalleled. A must visit!

The thought and effort that have gone into creating this building is mind blowing and the end result stunning. It is beautiful, peaceful and well worth visiting. Make sure to visit the Islamic Information Centre also. Some very wise people will answer your questions in ways that will leave you thinking for days after

It is one of the most fascinating place in the word with huge ceiling and brilliant Persian carpet. The big 53parts Iranian carpet on the main floor, attracts your eyes. The snowy stones, woody ceilings and the magnificent design of halls and saloon are rare.

If you only have time for one attraction, make it Sultan Qaboos Mosque. The place is beautifully designed from the inside and out, giving a you a good feel of this authentically Omani site of worship.

Beautiful designed. Worth visiting. The guards inside the mosque didn't allow me to photo them. They always told me to direct the camera far from them I have no idea why. I guess because they were gathering and chatting during work hours and didn't want me to show that. And at night the sight is amazing. I recommend it.
