Chateau La Coste is about 15 km outside of Aix-en-Provence, and not at all difficult to find with the help of Google maps. Emerging from the dark but ample car park, it was delightful to see the wonderful Louise Bourgeois Crouching Spider in the reflecting pool, beautifully enhanced by that special light of the Provençal winter sun, and likewise the... It was easy to find using GPS. There are art installations around the vineyard. We followed the map and recommendation and spent 3hours on the first part, stop for a blissful lunch and 2.5 hrs on the second part. What a way to spend a beautiful day in Provence...

We visited Chateau La Coste on a gorgeous day in May driving there from Cannes. It was well worth the drive to sample the food, wine and walk around the vineyards viewing the installations. A day to remember and one to repeat!

If you love wine, France, and architecture than this is for you. It was cold and rainy the day we went so we didn't do the art tour, but we will return to do so on our next visit to Aix En Provence. Our guide spoke both English and french which was great for our small group where only 1... More

A 20 minutes drive from Aix en Provence Chateau La Coste is a gorgeous, must see visit. It is located outside a small town called Le Puy-Sainte-Reparade (follow the signs). The site is on gently rolling hills planted with vines with small groups of pine trees here and there. Works of art from major artists have been set throughout the... More

We did the trail through the vineyard looking at the art installations, which were quite nteresting, and finished up in the restaurant for a nice al fresco lunch. The food was pleasant, the rose excellent and we all had a great time. Bought some wine and knick knacks at the gift store and came home lTe afternoon having had a... More

We visited with friends intending to walk around the sculpture park. It's a huge park with well laid out paths through woods and up and down hill, surprises to be had at every turn. From the frank geary music pavilion to the oak house underground. There is so much more here, wine tastings , restaurant and a soon to be... More

Here's a surprise find for us: a winery in Provence (near Aix-en-Provence) that, at the same time, is like an open-air art museum. First, it is set in Provence, which by itself is quite an attraction. Second, there are several contemporary art works distributed around the gape vines. And third, the wine is way more than enjoyable. This is a... More

Cool photo opportunities with the statues. The nice (but a little overpriced) restaurant serves good food and wine. Take a stroll around the property and enjoy the landscape - worth a visit!
