Mirik lake is another beautiful "must visit" site at a distance of 50kms from Darjeeling. It is in fact the weather of Mirik, which makes it altogether special. You can cover tea garden & Pashupati market (inside Nepal) on way to Mirik.

Entered Mirik en route to Siliguri from Darjeeling. This is a lake where boating activities take place. The place is very beautiful situated at a much lower elevation than Darjeeling. The road journey from Darjeeling to Mirik is really very beautiful

Mirik is a transit city enroute Darjeeling or Silliguri. Maximum a one night stay is adviced. From here you can enter Nepal bordering Market of Pasupati to do some shopping only if you are good at bargaining.
