Jamal showed us a wonderful day trip! We saw white tip reef sharks, eels, whales, spinner dolphins and a reef teeming with tropical fish. His support and kindness helped my 78 year old mom have a safe and amazing day, while providing stories and facts that entertained the whole group of all ages. We were taken care of the whole... Just returned from a really fun morning kayaking and snorkeling on Kakeakakua Bay. Everything went very smoothly, and allowed us to enjoy everything. Jamal, our guide, was excellent. He gave the adults in the group lots of local information and history to understand the context of the place, and also was really fun with our twin 8-year olds. Both of... More

We booked the kayak and snorkeling trip and it was a blast. I have be many times snorkeling over the world and Kealakekua Bay is in my top 2 because of the large amount of tropical fish and well maintained coral reef. The kayak was harder than I thought it would be but was nice for a change of pace.... More

Ramsey met us at the shop and got us fitted for gear, gave us a brief overview of the area we would snorkel in and the history of CPT Cook. Met again at the launch sight and all was in order. Quick lesson on kayak rule and off we went. You need some experience to paddle over to the monument,... More

We booked a 3.5 hour kayak and snorkel tour. Ramsay was an excellent guide, ensuring we had all of the equipment and information that we needed. He even accompanied us while snorkeling the reef--which was exceptionally beautiful and teeming with fish--and pointed out the various types of fish that we were seeing. Great tour, great value. We would do it... More

We had an excellent day with our guide Jamal on our Aloha Kayak Co. 5 hour trip to the Captain Cook Monument and back. Seeing Spinner dolphins is nearly guaranteed on this trip because pods use the bay to rest up for their nocturnal feeding. We were also very fortunate to see an adult and calf humpback whale. What was... More

This was a great time, The paddle out and back was very relaxing we saw several dolphins playing and jumping on each leg of the journey. The snorkeling was super and probably the coolest adventure we have ever had. But what made this trip over the top was the guide, Jamal was a superstar! He was very knowledgeable, well spoken... Just had a wonderful experience with Jamal and Ramsey on the morning Captain Cook kayak and snorkel. The guys were great guides and the snorkeling was the best we have seen on the island. Jamal and Ramsay even took us to see a couple of sharks! Don't let that stop you from going out. Highly recommended.

Aloha kayaks has a great program that tells you a ton of history about the island. Jamall was our guide and was incredible and passionate about his subject, a wealth of knowledge!! I felt safe the entire time. The kayaks were great and the gear was terrific. We saw dolphins and manta rays and snorkels and was able to land... More

Our five-hour Kayak trip to Captain Cook monument (Kealakekua Bay) was excellent. Our guides, Brian and Ramsey, were well prepared and well informed. The reef was gorgeous with lots of beautiful fish. They showed me where some baby reef sharks were hiding in a cave. We even got to see dolphins swimming around us. I definitely recommend them!
