We booked the 5 hr morning kayak tour to Captain Cook Monument. First let me start off by saying that the bay was incredible and we got to kayak through a pod of dolphins and even saw a small shark while snorkeling. We had a incredible time in spite of this company and our tour guide. I highly recommend a... More

The staff was very helpful and friendly, they took their time and shared lots with the people on the trip. The one reason why I did not give them an "Excellent" rating is because the CPT Cook history story. I was expecting a snorkel trip and it was more about the history and life of CPT Cook, which I really... More

We did the Kealakekua Bay 5 hr Kayak to Captain Cook Monument in the morning. It was just me and my husband, with our guide Steve, which was great. We got on the water early and paddled about 1 mile to the monument. We got there at least an hour before the boats, which was great because we really had... More

We booked an afternoon kayak tour starting at 12:15PM. Arranged our whole day to be at their office a few minutes early. When we arrived, office was closed, no one around. When we tried calling we could hear phone ringing in the office, no one picked up. 2 other parties for the trip arrived but no one there. Finally about... More

We had a pretty great time kayaking out to and snorkeling in Kealakekua Bay. We had tour guides Makai and Will. The day started off with a history lesson on Captain Cook. It was interesting and Makai definitely knew his stuff but perhaps a little long (especially for our 3 year old). Makai did great with the kids that we... More

Love, love, love this trip! We wanted to see Kealakekua Bay and really wanted a kayak adventure, so this was perfect! We were fascinated to get the story of Captain Cook from the Hawaiian perspective, as a bonus. The waters are crystal clear. We saw a turtle, several groups of spinner dolphins (including one spinning!), tropic birds and amazing fish.... More

We took a half-day tour over to Captain Cooks monument for snorkeling and lunch. The scenery was gorgeous and the snorkeling was fabulous. Makai was our tour guide - a kind, personable, passionate and knowledgable person. Before the tour began, we sat in a classroom like setting and learned the history of Captain Cook. It was very interesting but a... More

We reserved a trip for 7: kayak to Captain Cook, snorkel, have lunch, explore. The night before I called to clarify meeting place. The Boss, rather confused, said, "Oh hey, yeah! I meant to call you -- we're overbooked. How about Friday?" When I said our group would be GONE on Friday, he said, "Oh wait! I didn't mean you... More

The boys and I were lucky enough to be the only ones going out that afternoon, so it ended up being a "private" tour. Makai was our guide and he was amazing. He was very friendly and personable. We were fortunate enough to spot a sea turtle where we launched from. While we kayaked out toward captain cooks monument, we... More

The four of us had a great time kayaking and snorkeling. We did the morning 3.5 hour tour. Our kids are 7 and 11, so this was perfect. We still had plenty of time to snorkel. This is the best snorkeling we have done on the Island. Our guide was great sharing local knowledge and patient with us and the... More
