The Château de Suscinio, was one of the residensces of the Duke of Brittany, built between the thriteenth and the fifteenth centurie. Located on the Rhuys Peninsula, a priveleged site, close to the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Morbihan, the castle is surrounded by marshes where exceptional fauna and flora are to discover.

This chateau offers audio-guided tours, but it can be easily enjoyed walking around. It is very well conserved and it is entertaining for kids and adults. You can also have lunch outside, with several tables nearby.

Having found this restored Castle we were pleasantly surprised at the tour via audio support device. The Castle is well presented but be prepared to climb lots of stairs. Lots of interesting features well worth a visit

Hello the nearest bus station from the chateau is 6 km away; in Sarzeau towncenter. Quite a long walk but you can hire bicycles in Sarzeau for 12€ fro a day and 8€ for 1/2 day. Any question, please ask. Have a nice day
