We arrived at 11am and left at 4pm. Drank coffee, climbed the tour, had lunch. Easy to find a table at the many terraces. We love the Piazza Grande.

Nice place full of people, restaurants. Great buildings and shops. There are great local antique markets every first weekend.

Piazza Grande in Arezzo is a good place to sit down at one of the upside/sunny side cafes, have a glass of prosecco or a cop of espresso, and enjoy the atmosphere, where present day meets the medieval buildings surrounding the inclined square.

Well worth the climb to what is the top of the city. Some great views and photo opportunities. A very pleasant end to a most enjoyable day.

As described by most travelling guidebooks, this is one of the most beautiful Piazza in Italy, with all historic buildings in various style. Full of history, charming.

One of the best medieval squares in Italy. The best part is that it's titled! It could be a little overcrowded in the morning because of the market.

Arezzo's piazza grande offers pleasant options for a day out, especially during the saracino times of the year but always offers a dip into medieval times connecting most old parts of the city.

Got there with the family, to check out the amazing marker coming from the northern part of Italy. A lot of fabulous little shops and small kitchens able to cook home made pastries from the Dolomites. Great atmosphere, great organisation, feels like the best Christmas...More

It is a very beautiful square surrounded by different kind of buildings: palaces, towers and churches. In June and in September it hosts the famous medioeval tournament known as the Giostra del Saracino. There are nice bars and restaurants where you can relax and admire...More

The closest parking is Parcheggio Pietri. From there start a series of escalator that allow you to reach easily the city center.
