We stopped here after visiting the duomo and it was a lovely park with beautiful views and gorgeous trees. There were lots of people enjoying the space and I loved seeing children playing there too.

This is a large, tree filled park high above the city. It is between the Medici fort and the cathedral. Full of young couples, parents and kids, also a nice place to have a drink.

Interesting and amazingly well preserved but no markers our information within the fortress to explain what you are seeing. Be sure to take a guided tour if you're truly interested in it.
