Nice stop

If your in the area stop in and take a look. Still looks amazing considering how old it is. Also a down stairs area that you should go down and see.

Located at Piazza Arringo, the first Piazza you face when you arrive from the train it inmediately gives you an idea of how beautiful this small town was in the past. Well kept beautiful church.

The exterior of this building is stunning, built of white travertine but is best seen at night when it's features are finely defined. This is a lovely cathedral with some fine interior decoration and some superb mosaics.

Ordinarily, after a while one church can feel much like another for me, but this was different and really interesting. Don't miss the crypt.

I believe this building is from the 12th century. It is in great shape and offers some great pictures from the outside. But the inside is truly beautiful to behold. Amazing paintings, wonderful lighting and a beautiful dome complete the cathedral. Worth a visit whether you are religious or not.

Not sure how to review a place of worship but we enjoyed looking round and the mosaics in the crypt were lovely.

We loved exploring this beautiful church. The ceilings painted blue, the amazing mosaics (check the cript!), the exterior, everything is beautiful. We especially loved the way the walls were painted in beautiful patterns resembling expensive wall hangings.

Well worth the visit to this magnificent Cathedral. The ceiling with its frescoes is worth the visit alone then there is the crypt with amazing mosaics. Having done some mosaic classes myself I am very interested in the history and beauty of mosaics.
