This was our second trip to Tuscany and one of many wine tastings and tours that we have done. This, without question, is the best we have ever experienced. Everyone at the winery is charming, the wines are wonderful and the food is the best meal we had during our entire 3 week trip and we ate at many fine... More

Rita and Sylvano have build a great farm, winery, and home, and luckily for us, are willing to share it with tourists. The cooking class was a great full day experience, and we shall not forget it. If you have the time, don't miss this "home made" food and chance to expand your knowledge of this famous region. Thanks from... More

We were picked up from Florence, whisked off to Siena to spend a few wonderful hours wondering about and then went off to part we were most waiting for: the wine tasting and dinner. The people were interesting, the scenery beautiful. The balsamic and honey/apple, and the food was amazing. A once in a life time experience from a film,... More

I arranged with our Riserva to participate in a cooking class at Tenuta Casanova. What a fabulous experience. It was a full day of preparing and cooking then eating. I purchased many products, and have enjoyed sharing them with friends back home. My only regret is not shipping some home!! However, I plan on ordering.

On our very recent trip (August 2013) to France, Switzerland and Italy, we were staying in Florence and by per chance arranged a tour to Sienna and the Tenuta Casanova St. Agnese Winery. It was the highlight of our holiday and one of my lifes holidays highlights. The host and staff were sensational as was the surroundings, the food and... More

It was our wedding anniversary and I asked the Villa we were staying at for ideas on how to spend the day. They recommended the cooking class with Tenuta Casanova and what resulted was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The class group was comprised of 6 ppl - very comfortable - and Silvano picked us up from... More

I went to Tenuta Casanova with my two adult children, and we had a great day. Both Rita and Silvano were fantastic, we learned so much about cooking, and eating like a true Tuscan. The wine, extra virgin olive oil and 30 year old balsamic was incredible!, all of which we purchased to bring home. The breads that we made... More

My now husband and I took a trip to Italy about 3 years ago. We were just talking about our trip to friends (like we do over and over because it was so great), and we realized that we never raved about our favorite place on trip advisor. So, a little overdue... but.. here it is.... One of our stops... More

Spent the day at the Tenuta Casanova where we got to help cook a number of dishes. Before the cooking we had a private tour of the grounds, the wine cellar and the balsamic vinegar cellar. Got to taste an amount of wines as well as 8 year old and 30 year old balsamic vinegar. Time flew by as we... More

We were a group of 8, age ranging from 11-74 and spent a great day with Silvano and Rita cooking and learning about their organic farm, the wine they produce and balsamic vinegar. We all enjoyed the day and agree that it was a highlight of our trip.
