Really fascinating history of the fishing port of Cesenatico. Beautifully displayed with English translations. Superb exhibits in the museum and boats on the canal outside. Cheap to visit and positively encouraged to touch the exhibits. Great for children and with excellent helpful staff.

I must admit I was as surprised as fascInated to find such an unique museum in an otherwise not well known (not in the US at least) little town. Really lovely especially while enjoying a gelato!

The Museo della Marineria is a very nice little ship and fishing boat presentation close to the Porto Canale. It is surrounded by plenty of restaurants, bars and shops.
