This building was part of the drainage project and now enables you to control 3 hi tech cameras, one on the Casa Rossa, one floating in the marsh and one at the far end of the reserve.

As you drive along the coastline, one cannot miss this beautiful red building. It is worth stopping. Fare is excellent and of typical Italian seafood style--very fresh.

This beautiful structure looms up over the reeds in the wetlands of the Riserve Naturale Provinciale DIACCIA BOTRONA in the Grosseto area of Tuscany. Visit it and the wetlands that surround it.

This museum has the best views over Maremma marshes and towards Castiglione d.P. The only language used in the exposition is Italian - this reduces the value of the visit of you do not understand it. A simple guide in other languages would help a...More

A fabulous retreat for bird life and small mammals. I loved walking through the wetlands and just listening to the sounds of nature. No fee to wander the wetlands Fee to go through the museum.
