We stayed in the town of Forte Dei Marmi at the end of October. It's is a very quiet place in winter and not a lot open. It was beautifully clean and maintained. But everything I read about it is that's it's an overpriced busy...More

If you want a (half) day to relax, this is the perfect place. Nice beach - rather crowded though - for kms long. All « Bagnos » look like each other. You can rent a space with roof and 4 (long) chairs. We tried Bagno Lorenzo Levanto....More

If you have money to spend...then this is a place where the height of luxury reigns. Can't say much about the sea...very dirty..Rhodes is much better.

We went to Forte di Marmi on recommendation from a friend, it was not worth the extra miles. Nothing much to do, we sat and had a very expensive Coke and watched a lot of people walking by doing their best to look "good". No...More
