this is the best place to go if you are near Tuscany, the hot water comes rushing out of the ground and cascades into the marble rock pools. WOW we went past for the day and it was so fantastic we came back again before going home and spent a few days relaxing in a lovely little hotel nearby which... More

It was a most lovely day at Santurian Spa. The hot oil and mud treatment was heavenly. The spa waters - famous world wide - were warm and invigorating although getting out of them in this cold weather was um, chilly! The spa restaurant was lovely- very courteous and attentive wait staff. Despite speaking little Italian, everyone was gracious and... More

Just you, the hot water and the nature. ( and 100 more people). Superb place despite the absence of the basic facilities. Or perhaps because of it.

Highly recommended, and for at least a full day or weekend--with time to also visit the natural thermal springs nearby, and the villages in Maremma. We arrived at Terme di Saturnia in the late afternoon and, fortunately, were greeted by Monika. She provided a necessary tour and helped coordinate our first visit: the resort is large and includes several thermal... More

Saturnia thermal waters are a bliss. For many things. First of all is very relaxing to lay in warm water even if it's cold outside. Then those waters, that come from the depth of the earth are rich of many mineral elements apt to cure several skin problems or also internal organs if drunk. My Easter Monday afternoon was spent... My husband and have traveled to many places on this planet. And indeed thing we just can't resist is a natural hot spring and a great massage. And after 30 years of that we know what a good massage is. We could wait to try this one as it billed itself as an experience not to missed. Worst massage ever!... More

We ate at the restaurant and used the spa. Lovely settings, tranquil, serene and a nice audience and atmosphere. Was a little quiet and the restaurant was good service and nice staff but not a buzzing atmosphere. Great food and wine though.

They don’t smell so very good but boy it sure does feel good. You cannot be this close and not stop. Its really warm and you think that just maybe....it will help the arthritis....and after long days of hiking it does feel really great.

We visited Saturnia on our way to Florence from Rome. It's a scenic drive (Roman drivers are crazy, but once on the highway it's fine), full of green hills etc. the kind of things you see in movies, stunning! Saturnia is very unique place to visit, these are natural baths, so although the pictures you may see make it look... More

The thermal pools are definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. The pools are lovely and warm and because of the water flow some of the smaller pool areas feel like you're in a hot tub! There is lots of parking nearby, also a cafe just 100m from the pools. The cafe has toilets which you can... More
