This wall and entrance in this Garda village is spectacular, the castle appeared to me non accessible by the public but was beautiful! The walk up to the gate is just fantastic, gorgeous flowers and lovely weather just makes it more appealing. When visiting Lake...More

Beautiful walled town, perfect to spend the day strolling, photographing, sipping great coffee, enjoying a glass of vino on the promenade or harbour. Highly recommended. Lots of parking nearby €150-€2.00 per hour.

The substantial walls of the town remain with their historic gateways largely intact. Sadly no rampart wall to enjoy just a good photo opportunity.

Lazise is a small castle where you can see the wall surrounding the small village. There are 3 entrances (the main one on the "gardesana" way. I strongly suggest you to visit it out of high season.

The little town of Lazise is walled. You have to walk through the city walls to access the waterfront. The town is very charming and beautiful and certainly worth a stop.

Lovely city walls give thus place its own identity. Sirmione has similar walls but prob not kept as in tact as what you have in lazise. This gives it its own charming character with lovely gateways and arches

Stopped off here on a circular tour of the lake. Great walk and historic buildings still intact. Atmospheric and not too packed with people. Highly recommended.
