While the station is fairly easy to find, the exit system was very confusing and there were no taxis if you end up at the back side of the station. We were able to find a young English speaking guy who helped us when there...More

The Centro station is not more than a 1/4 mile or so from Terme. Why there are two stations so close to each other is a mystery to me. In any case, the terminals are easy to get to and buying a ticket is fairly...More

This is where you get the train to Florence. Give yourself plenty of time as the ticket machines are a little tricky and there will be a gypsy woman trying to help you...she will want you to rush as then you leave your change behind

Easy station but be careful of the 'helpful gypsies' they expect payment for their helpfulness. They seem harmless though.

Trains are great but pick pockets and gipsies are not. Buy tickets at the tobacconist just off the main square to avoid being robbed and pestered while getting tickets at station machine. Tickets must be validated before getting on train.

We tried to get a train to Lucca around 5 pm to attend the opera there. The ticket window wasn't open and only one automated ticket machine was working. After repeated attempts, we were unable to get the train tickets. The person ahead of me...More

Andy , you can either purchase tickets for the day you want to travel in advance from local shops like tobacconists but it's just as easy to use the machines at the station. They display in various languages and are easy to... More
