Touring in and the countryside around Montepulciano is a delight to the senses, and a wine lover's Bucket List escapade. There are so many Vino Nobile wine producers that you'll only get a sampling of wineries and wine shops, but that's OK because you'll enjoy yourself and further your knowledge of wine and the Tuscan countryside. Enjoy and have a... More

This tour was amazing and well organized. We were a group of 7 people and Vanda was our tour guide who was excellent, plus a wonderful driver. We went to three wineries including one that had lunch. The winery with lunch was called Villa Sant Anna and we will never, ever forget it. The owner of the winery, Simona greeted... More

Lots of history in this town. I love the little wine bars around town. They are called catinas. The wineries give tastings this way because to visit the Vinyard you need an appointment

We went on a wonderful wine tour organised from la Casella . We went to two fantastic wineries . One in montepulciano with the most amazing historic cellar complex including an Etruscan cellar. It was most informative and the wine was very good.

Spent an afternoon in this town tasting Vino Nobile wines and cheese. Great experience! The town itself has medical architecture and well preserved.

The drive from Montalcino, reaching Pienza and Montepulciano, is beautiful and you will really enjoy a piece of Tuscany. Many places deserve a stop, for wine tasting, lunch, bit of shopping. Pienza is the jewel, Montepulciano for shopping and wine tasting, Monticchiello off the beaten track.
