TORRE DEL MORO A bird’s eye view of Orvieto from the medieval tower. The eye sweeps the horizon with its hamlets and castles that bear witness to the power that was of the medieval city.

This is a very easy walk up - you can even take a lift a good part of the way. You are rewarded with spectacular views all over Orvieto and the surrounding countryside. It only costs a few euro- worth the effort!

With a few places left to visit on my "City Card" I decided to climb the many stairs to the top of Torre del Moro even though it was a warm summer afternoon. I was rewarded with incredible 360 degree views of the countryside and...More

The perfect place for fantastic views of Orvieto and the surrounding Tevere valley. The views are worth climbing the stairs for.

The great view offered by the top platform is the deserved prices for the efforts to reach the top ;-). I have been there with my girlfriend: we enjoyed the beautiful view of the medieval city and the Tevere's valley. Best place to take pictures....More

This is an elevated observatory tower with a clock at the top. Going up to the top is possible via stairs (after paying entrance ticket), but the view of the entire city and its architecture is fantastic.

Old Tower just a bit away from the Duomo. The hike to the top will give you some great views of the surrounding countryside. There's a reduced cost for those who qualify. Gift shop inside.

I am looking for panorama point in every place I visit. This tower has really nice view on the roofs of Orvieto. There is a lift that takes you to second floor, but after you still need to climb lot of steps. worth an effort

Orvieto stands on the top of a steep rock. Doing a review of the whole town not just this viewing spot. Any where you look there are great views over the countryside. A lot of walking as usual but worth every step. Corso Cavour is...More

This vantage point has the best sweeping views of the Umbrian valley. You can imagine just what the view was like thousands of years ago.

You get a view but not worth the money, as there is nothing there but the tower. You can see the same views from other parts of town. Very disappointing
