There are two reasons to go up the Torre Del Moro.... Firstly, as everyone else mentions, it is the absolutely amazing views. They are 360 degrees and are a great way to see Orvieto and the surrounding countryside. The second reason is to scare the...More

We were contemplating whether to go up, as we had our 2 year old daughter with us. A ten minutes later were up at the top of the tower staring at the scenic beauty that spread before us. It is worth the climb even with...More

Stunning views, didn't quite believe how good they'd be 'til I was up there. Pro-tip, get to the top between 12:45 and 13:15 or wear ear plugs - the bells are very close and very loud at the top!

Don't miss the climb to the tower "Torre del Moro" where you will get an amazing 360 panoramic view of Orvieto (even the huge Duomo will look so small!) If you're too tired to go up using all the stairs, you can take the lift,...More
