We visited the store in April of 2017 during our visit to Positano. Anna was extremely helpful with my purchases and setting up the shipping back to Las Vegas. Once back home, I decided to make an additional purchase and Giovanni was extremely helpful in sending me photos of various coffee mugs until I could find the ones that I... More

My wife and I visited Ceramica Assunta on our trip to Positano last April. We immediately fell in love with the vast collection of handmade plates and ceramic goods. We chose a plate to take back with us and purchased it in the store. In the months since our visit, that plate has been a wonderful reminder of our trip... More

We actually went to this store on our honeymoon in 2011. We bought lots of beautiful pieces. This past year (2016) my husband broke a dish we bought and felt badly so I went online and was able to replace it for Christmas. Giovanni was lovely and very helpful. Even though I placed my order in late November, they were... More

This is one of the many stores in Positano that have beautiful ceramic pieces. The work covers a wide range, from ordinary to very beautiful.

Needless to say, you can find Italian ceramics at thousands (yes, thousands) of stores throughout Italy but most of them all have the same items; hard to find something that if not unique, at least is different. Ceramica Assunta has a large and diversified inventory with high quality ceramics.

It's unfortunate I feel I need to warn other buyers. I tried very hard to resolve the issue of my damaged piece that arrived to the states, one that I spent over $500 USD for, but the "insurance" you pay for does nothing for you unless the piece is damaged more than 50%. The seller is NOT clear about this.... More

Had a wonderful experience both visiting the beach store and later the production facility. People were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We ordered a table and a fountain (custom designed) with shipping included. They arrived in the United States well packaged and in beautiful shape. Can't say enough good things about the people, service and quality workmanship of Ceramica Assunta.

We had only one regret after our visit to Positano.......we didn't buy a hand painted ceramic platter we had seen. I contacted Ceramic Assunta by email and told them what we had seen in their store and could they help us. They were very helpful. I described the platter and they sent a picture of it just to make sure.... More

We recently visited Positano while on a cruise for my parents' 60th anniversary. We didn't need another t-shirt or sweet treat to bring home. We wanted something that would remind us of our experience for many years. When we walked into Ceramica Assunta, we knew we had found just what we were looking for! We purchased some beautiful ceramic pieces,... More

I read about Ceramica Assunta in my Rick Steve's travel book as I was looking for something special to bring home from Positano with me. We first went to the store further up the hill and fell in love with their ceramic dinner plates with their varieties of beautiful color and fish/sea creatures! I decided to buy 4 and the... More
