By going on this ride you will have a view of Modica accompanied by historic narration as you go along. Ideally this ride is taken in good weather.

We paid 5e each for tickets with a 50e bill and the “conductor” palmed the money and refused to give us change. Only time in Sicily that we were scammed.

A half hour trip around Ragusa Ibla will save your legs from all the ups and downs. Commentary in English and Italian with am,suing operatic music. Well worth it.

It lasts only 30 minutes and costs 5€. It is a good way to give an idea of the town surrounding and the audio explanation in Italian and English is good and interesting.

You can start discover Ragusa with this train. It takes half an hour and 5 Euro. You can have basic information about Unesco Heritage buildings
