Spent an hour or so here with my wife. Whilst we enjoyed the whole experience I feel that it was let down by the fact that everything was written in German and Italian. I realise that there was the "odd wee card" in English but you had to search for it. I would have expected that there would have been... More

Good value museum- great to learn a bit more about the lake and surrounding area. Museum is spread across a few floors- I particularly enjoyed the 1920s photos.

The place looks tiny from the outside but inside it's big and there are loads of exhibitions. Much of them are in Italian or German; however in each room there are little white leaflets with English translations on them so don't miss these. The view from the top of he tower is stunning too. Definitely worth a visit if you... More

We visited this museum on our recent stay in Riva Del Garda. At only five euros entrance, it is very good value. Lots to see over several floors covering local history. When we visited, there was an excellent display of photos from the 1920/30s which were really interesting. The building used to be a medieval fort, and it retains its... More

A rewarding experience for the keen visitor to engage with the wide and varied exhibits over a couple of hours, within an idyllic lakeside setting over three floors and a relatively low price of admission. Some excellent artefacts and exhibits covering a wide canvas, especially thoughtful and refreshing were the exhibits designed to engage the interest and learning of the... More

Staff were less than helpful and not at all friendly however the old photos of Lake Garda were incredible.

We spent a very pleasant afternoon viewing enlarged wonderful old black and white photos of Lake Garda in the early days of photography, as well as a very impressive display of old oil paintings. Best of all, it had air conditioning on a very hot, sultry day. Reasonable entry fee.

I've been going to this little museum for years when on holiday or with.visitors. some of the exhibitions need shaking up a bit. But it's interesting enough if you take the time to look at all the floors (there is a lift too). The view from.the.top is excellent (if u can climb the last stairs). Staff are very friendly and...
